In-call AI is shifting from “experimental” to “expected.” The land-grab has started, budgets are moving toward performance tech, and we do the heavy lifting—demos, onboarding, support—so your referrals stick and you stack recurring.

Why this wave is different

Where the market is now → where it’s headed

Today: Most teams still don’t run a live AI co-pilot on every call. Early adopters are winning outsized attention and results.

Next 5 years: AI on the call becomes the norm—embedded in onboarding, coaching, and compliance. The winners are the ones who own the mindshare now.

  • Real-time models keep getting faster and cheaper—usefulness goes up while friction drops.
  • Leaders want measurable lift, not more tools—in-call AI proves impact on the call.
  • We handle setup + support so you can stay in pure demand-gen mode.
The next 5 years

What to expect as adoption explodes

Year 1
Land-grab

Affiliates who move first lock relationships and ride the novelty wave. Social proof builds fast.

Year 2
Standard in top teams

High-performing orgs bake in-call AI into onboarding and scorecards. Budgets shift toward live coaching.

Year 3
Compliance + scale

Security and governance mature. Bigger customers roll out by region and function. Retention strengthens.

Year 4
Ecosystem plays

Integrations, templates, and vertical packages unlock new segments. Affiliate pipelines become assets.

Year 5
Default setting

AI on every call. New buyers ask “which in-call AI?” not “why?” Early affiliates own the warmest lanes.

How our 30% actually works

When a customer buys something, that money doesn’t all go straight into our pocket - first, we have to pay for the stuff that made the sale possible. Our wholesale cost.
Those are called COGS, which just means Cost of Goods Sold - things like software fees, phone minutes, processing costs, and the tools that keep Kolby running. Then we factor in your 30%. For example, your referred customer uses $150 worth of minutes. It cost us $30 to make that happen. Your 30% is based off the $120.

  • A customer buys → money comes in

  • We pay the costs that make the product actually work

  • Whatever is left after those costs - that’s the net amount

Metered billing = money in motion.

Every minute on the phone is revenue. At $0.19/min you earn 30%—that’s $0.057 per minute, or $3.42 per hour of talk time flowing to you. Sign a solo rep, great. Refer an enterprise, and the minutes stack like crazy.
